The Board of Governors unanimously endorsed the principles set forth in the model code of conduct of the Workers Rights Consortium. The Board also instructed the University to take appropriate measures to see that, to the extent possible, vendors (licensees) of University indicia would conform to those principles. The resolution, which applies primarily to clothing, promotional and related items, applies both to goods purchased for University use or sale and to promotional items.

In order to comply with the resolution, those companies authorized to produce items bearing licensed WSU indicia must do three things:

The following is a list of key suppliers to Wayne State University who have provided appropriate documentation indicating their compliance, and are eligible to provide the University with promotional goods or clothing.

To be eligible for this website posting, the Vendor must have been issued a University Purchase Order within the last five years, and must not be suspended or debarred.

Being on this list, however, does not qualify as an endorsement by the University. It simply means the company has registered with the University and is in our database.
